I'll be back.

Hello old and new friends. My blog has been inactive but I am still around. I loom-knit (and weave now, too!) but I seem to take more photos of my toddler than my crafts these days. She has that cute factor going for her. Because of this, I have started a tumblr called Tiny Taughts of our home lessons, crafts and projects. Please visit me there and I promise to come back here soon!

Come What May

I have some knitting to show you. I promise. But maybe I can distract you with some spring-y photos in the meantime.

Sensation lilac
Look, I'm a pretty, good-smelly lilac!

That was today. But a few weeks ago, the tulips and daffodils ruled the garden.

Tulips

So overall, you would have seen this …

But I saw this …

Hill flower garden 2.0
This image is dedicated to the Snagit pro user of the house, my husband.

Every spring, I see the gaps of color and pledge to fix it. Fall comes back around and I forget about those bulbs buried deep in the soil. So I have now logged my reminder here. And THAT reminds me of these bulbs drying out in the basement …

Pretty tulips from aforementioned husband in January. Ignore the cute baby. I dare ya.

I could probably plant those in a prime spot in the front yard right now. I'll get right on that — oh lookie over here, more garden photos!
