It feels like only yesterday but our visit to the
Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum was more than 8 months ago.
Mom, me + "Roo" and Dad
But for my Dad it was more like 40 years ago since he braced his feet on the concrete ledge to peek into the factory windows. He grew up down the road in Two Rivers, Wis. The presses were running then and they are still running today. So we explored the exhibits to experience the history of the company and the town.

Tessa and me + "Roo"
CB arrived a week later and my photos have been buried under, well, baby photos. My sister, Tessa (the budding graphic artist), and I can't wait to go back — maybe even take a workshop.

"Designer Break-ups" from workshops
Perhaps I'll be inspired to finally craft something from my own lil' collection of wood type.
