I'll be back.

Hello old and new friends. My blog has been inactive but I am still around. I loom-knit (and weave now, too!) but I seem to take more photos of my toddler than my crafts these days. She has that cute factor going for her. Because of this, I have started a tumblr called Tiny Taughts of our home lessons, crafts and projects. Please visit me there and I promise to come back here soon!

Bottlefuls of root beer

Something delicious is bottled up inside ... our laundry room. We learned to "brew" our own root beer today.

The bottled beer requires a warm place to carbonate for the next week. So we'll be running the dryer almost every day to keep them cozy!

  1. Ohhh homemade root beer! My aunt used to make that. It was really strong, but it made the best floats!

  2. I hope ours turns out! It's hard to find a warm enough place in our house today.

  3. This is so cool! I love all those vintage-y looking photos! Did you pick up that old bottle crate and the bottle cap crimper just for the making of your root beer...can't get enough of all those old but still loved items!

  4. My hubby's mom provided the oldtimey supplies but we are thinking of getting our own - if this batch turns out yummy. :-)
