On the loom
I think the pattern popped a little more on Tyler's stocking. Do you see the subtle diamond pattern? Since it's a knit/purl combo, it makes for a nice substitute ribbing that won't roll.(Worked flat, multiple of 4 sts plus edging)

ReplyDeleteHi came across your site whilst searching for the seersucker stitch on Pinterest, as been searching for months now I saw it on s knit stitch patterns site & loved the pattern & I've tried knitting it but it's not coming out as it should on the pic!! I am A exp knitter & tried it loads of times but there's an error in the written pattern as its not forming the diamonds shapes in the background of pattern..I've tried to google it but it takes me back onto the same site where it's written wrong. Is this done in the round on circular needles or on the loom? As I don't know how to loom knit.can u pls help me?~how to find the correct written instructions?--as I desperately want to knit this stitch pattern & I'm soo late in knitting a blanket for my new grandchild.. Grateful for your help..sandy
ReplyDeleteLoom knitting is SO much easier than needle knitting. I suggest you look into it. :)
DeleteCan you tell me how many stitches to put on my loom to make a good size baby blanket? I am new to loom knitting, and would love to try this pattern on my first baby blanket!
