I'll be back.

Hello old and new friends. My blog has been inactive but I am still around. I loom-knit, weave and have picked up the sticks to needle knit, too! My patterns page links to Ravelry and I will answer questions about those. Maybe someday I will be back to write more. We will see where life takes me.

California, here we come

My Interlacements Hawaii stole is fresh from blocking …

The suitcase is almost packed (around the looms, of course) …

And my knit purse has been lined with nifty (and fun!) pockets for shopping efficiency.

It's time for Stitches West!!

We're hopping on a plane Tuesday to sunny — maybe a bit rainy California. Zoe, Em and I are working for Interlacements Yarns, the yummy yarn company run by Tracey here in the Northeastern Wisconsin. We're setting up a booth at the Santa Clara expo and will be selling her wares Thursday through Sunday. And shopping, of course!

I've been busy photographing new yarns and designing pattern booklets. Zoe is debuting two gorgeous needleknit patterns, Clara's Shell and Bamboo Flame Scarflet.

And Interlacements is releasing the following new yarns. You should be able to find these (and the patterns) online after the show.

I'm hoping to blog daily while we are there. Palm trees, a haunted house, pajamas and lots of yarn are headed your way (vicariously). Hasta la vista … baby.

What a lovely job on your stole and purse...I'm sure they'll both receive lots of much deserved attention! :)
