I'll be back.

Hello old and new friends. My blog has been inactive but I am still around. I loom-knit (and weave now, too!) but I seem to take more photos of my toddler than my crafts these days. She has that cute factor going for her. Because of this, I have started a tumblr called Tiny Taughts of our home lessons, crafts and projects. Please visit me there and I promise to come back here soon!

Friends with benefits

I hope crafty cleverness rubs off on friends. Because mine ooze talent — and generosity. So I hope to grow as a person and a crafter during every Friday Night Knitting Club. Here are just a few tangible examples of their kindness ...

Gifts from crafty friends

I am forever in her debt in the friend bank but I gave her a small token of my thanks tonight.

Mother Nature has been a friend, too. Here are some of her latest gifts to our backyard.

Fairy ring mushrooms
Celtic folklore says fairy-ring mushrooms are made by fairies dancing on the grass overnight

Looks like celery!

  1. I love little mushrooms! They are always so adorable, I can see why the Celts believed dancing fairies left them!

  2. It seems you have wonderfully giving friends. :) I really love your photos...very artistic and "right in the moment"! I feel like a little lady bug watching the scenes first hand. ;)
